As part of its 5th Anniversary celebrations, Hapinus Care Multi-Speciality Therapy & Research Centre successfully organised its inaugural international conference, the Hapinus Care Global Conference on Psychological Science & Practice (HCGC 2026), at the prestigious Sree Mulam Club, Thiruvananthapuram. The conference brought together psychologists, psychiatrists, researchers, academicians, students, and mental health professionals from India and abroad on a common platform dedicated to advancing psychological science, mental health practice, and global well-being.
Centred around the theme “Advancing Psychological Science & Practice for Global Well-Being,” HCGC 2026 featured keynote addresses from renowned national and international experts, scientific paper presentations, academic discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions on contemporary developments in psychology, neuroscience, psychotherapy, positive psychology, child and adolescent mental health, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality in mental healthcare.
The conference marked a significant milestone in Hapinus Care’s journey from a single mental health initiative to one of Kerala’s leading mental healthcare and wellness organisations with multiple centres across the state. HCGC 2026 reflected the organisation’s commitment to promoting evidence-based psychological practice, fostering research culture, encouraging young professionals, and building meaningful international collaborations in the field of mental health.
The event featured distinguished national and international speakers, including:

- Smt. Pritha Saha Dutta – Counselling Psychologist and Change Catalyst, who addressed emerging trends in mental health awareness and community engagement.
- Shri. Prasad Amore, a Clinical Rehabilitation Psychologist who discussed innovative approaches in rehabilitation psychology and integrated mental healthcare.
- Dr Manoj Vellanad – Renowned Neurosurgeon and Writer, who highlighted the intersection of neuroscience, mental health, and human behaviour.

The conference was presided over by Mr Sibi S. Panicker, Founder & Chairman of Hapinus Care, while the welcome address was delivered by Mrs Rajula Maniyeri, Co-Founder & CEO of Hapinus Care and also a renowned Rehabilitation Psychologist.
